    Eggs
The mother swan lays 2-10 eggs. The pen (female swan) lays one egg at a time. Once all the eggs are laid, she incubates the eggs for 5 weeks. Three to four months after hatching the cygnets grow their flight feathers so they are able to fly. The cygnets stay with their parents until the next mating season.
